Attached is the RTA Legislative Committee’s newsletter with information about pro-public education endorsements by our state union (NYSUT) and RTA’s Representative Assembly. This is in addition to our national unions’ (AFT and NEA) endorsement of Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz. Please also note that we have also endorsed NYS Proposal #1known as NYS Equal Rights Amendment or “a woman’s right to choose.” You should find it on the back of your ballot.
