Important Information for On-Line Voting 

RTA Officers Election 

April 21 – May 8, 2023 

RTA is using on-line voting for the Officers Elections which will be conducted from April 21 – May 8, 2023. 

What this Election is for:  The RTA Officers Election is held every 2 years.  RTA officers, department chairs, and other department positions are elected.  Responsibilities for these positions can be found in the RTA Bylaws which can be found on RTA’s website. 

Included on the ballot are candidate provided bios and pictures.  If a candidate does not have a bio and/or a picture, that is because the candidate did not provide it to RTA. 

What to expect:  You will receive an email from RTA Election Coordinator with an email address of noreply@directvote.net that contains the link to the ballot, along with username and password which will  allow you to access the ballot. 

If you have a high level of security blocking email from anyone who is not in your approved contacts list, please add directvote.net to your contacts list.  The email from directvote.net will arrive on April 21, 2023.  If you do not receive the email in your inbox, please check your junk mailbox or your clutter mailbox. 

When you can vote:  Anytime from April 21, 2023 – May 8, 2023 until 5:00 p.m. when the election closes. 

Reminder emails:  2 reminder emails will be sent to members who haven’t voted:  one on April 28 and a 2nd reminder on May 4th

Technical Assistance:  If you have difficulty accessing the ballot, call (952) 974-2339 (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5p.m., Central Time) or email support@directvote.net
