See below the communication that I have just received from the District. Bottom line, teachers do not have to report.
You should soon receive an email from Superintendent Dade who has been in communication with me about all this and very receptive to our perspective and advice. We appreciate his collaborative and thoughtful approach during this difficult period.
As this rapidly evolving public health crisis unfolds, we will continue to keep you informed and to respond to questions and concerns that arise. Meanwhile, stay safe and take good care of yourselves and each other.

Adam- As discussed, teachers will not be required to report to schools on Monday. Teachers can report to schools to pick up items, work on planning with their school communities, etc. on Tuesday, 3/17 (8:00 am – 12:00 Noon). This is on a voluntary basis. Schools are continuing to be cleaned and are no less safe than supermarkets, churches, etc. After Tuesday, schools will be disinfected and closed to any access, so if teachers need something, they need to get in to the buildings on Tuesday. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with you as this situation evolves.

Colleagues,
Sorry to interrupt your weekend again but I want to clarify potential confusion that may have been caused by various notifications.
Teachers do not have to report to schools either tomorrow or at any time during the school closure. If teachers can and want to come in voluntarily to retrieve personal items or instructional materials, or to work on planning with their school communities, they can choose do so on Tuesday morning, March 17, between 8am and noon. But this is strictly voluntary and no teacher is required or obligated to do so.
