We have received numerous calls from teachers who have experienced difficulty when attempting to reset their passwords in the Truenorthlogic system.
There were two issues causing the problem:
· The TNL password reset system sends an email to users who initiate the password reset process. Truenorthlogic had modified the sender (domain) of the email address, but we were unaware of this change and the email was being blocked by our internal filter.

· Truenorthlogic has also been experiencing sporadic technical difficulties on their end with the password reset feature – see message below from the vendor:
“There is currently an issue in our platform that is giving users a “500 error” message when they are trying to reset their passwords. This is a known issue and is being actively worked on by our engineering team. We will be sure to follow up with an update once this matter is resolved. We apologize for the issues this is causing.”
While Truenorthlogic is still working to completely resolve this second issue, we are finding that most users are now able to successfully reset their passwords.
