Some members may need the DASA (Dignity for All Students) training for their NYS certification. If so, this is a great opportunity for you to access that training for free. Any NYSUT member can take the DASA training, and any other ELT professional development course NYSUT is offering, at no cost. (Non-members must pay for the full cost of these courses.)
NYSUT is holding an online DASA training on Tuesday, August 8th from 9am-3pm. NYSUT is also offering a couple of five-hour online seminars that qualify for CTLE credit. They start on July 17 and July 31 and are work-at-your-own pace for 30 days. Advanced registration is required for all courses. You can register here. (DASA class is at the bottom of the list.)
