RTA and NYSUT will be holding informational ZOOM sessions to help members navigate the NYSED certification process and requirements. Meetings are for two categories of members and you must sign up in advance as space is limited. You only need to attend one session.
GROUP 1
Individuals who have been hired in a position that requires a NYS certificate and have NOT started the process of obtaining a certificate yet. This group includes individuals who do not have a TEACH account, may be unsure of the certificate they need and/or can obtain, and are unsure of the requirements for NYS certification.

GROUP 2
Individuals who have been hired in a position that requires a NYS certificate, have started the process of obtaining a NYS certificate, and now need some assistance. This group includes individuals who have a TEACH account, and/or know what certificate they need to obtain, and/or may have already applied for the certificate.
