Colleagues,
Last Friday night the District sent an email to you about mandated “Vector Training” that would require hours of additional time to complete. As we indicated in our last Update, we are pursuing this sudden and surprising announcement. Today, further confusing the matter, the District has sent out several emails in an attempt to revise or recall their original email on this topic.
We are currently attempting to confirm what training is truly mandated, what training applies to only some staff and not all, what District time will be provided for any of the training, and other relevant questions. For now, and until we conclude our investigation and resolve this matter with the District, the only training (required to be completed by December 1, 2023) is the training on sexual harassment. We will soon report to you about all the other trainings mentioned in the District’s confusing and questionable communications.
