Adam’s Update (1.20.26) RCSD’s Newest Debacle: W2s
Colleagues, As you may already know, the District notified all employees that the W2 forms sent out by the RCSD may be incorrect. They are advising you to not file your taxes for FY2025 quite yet, to file a ticket to the RCSD, and to send to the RCSD a photo of your W2 form. We are cautioning you that sending photos of your personal information through the internet may expose you to potential risk and therefore advise you NOT to heed that specific advice from the District. RTA is already reaching out to attorneys and professional tax experts to address this new issue created by the District. We will relay to you their professional advice as soon as we receive it.
