Colleagues, I’m sure you’ve been following the unfolding developments with the District’s inability to ensure transportation for all our students. The new school year begins in only a few days and we still don’t know what to expect. What we do know is that Rochester teachers are ready to welcome back their students and to continue to support their academic, social and emotional needs - as they always have, including during the pandemic.  Today’s meeting of the RCSD Board of Education yielded even more uncertainty. The Board is meeting again tomorrow. I just want to assure you that we are closely monitoring this mess. As soon as we get any indication of what they decide, we will communicate that to you.
