Colleagues,
Earlier this morning, you received from the District the communication below. Since then, teachers have contacted us seeking guidance as to whether to fill it out and whether a decision has already made about the potential transition to any in-person or hybrid model.
As the communication clearly indicates, no final decision has been made yet but we expect to know by the end of this week. Meanwhile, filling out this form will better prepare the District to make the necessary accommodations for when and if we do transition. Therefore, please do fill out the form.
Much more on this and some other very important issues soon. We are continuing to meet with the District and will keep you informed about our efforts on your behalf.

A Message from the Office of Human Resources
Dear Staff, Thank you to all of our staff for your resiliency and flexibility through the COVID-19 health crisis.
No decision has yet been made about shifting from the remote-only teaching model and returning to any form of in-person instruction. However, we want to be prepared for that possibility. We ask for your cooperation in completing the following linked Staff Accommodations Request Form.
We understand COVID-19 has real consequences and effects on our community and many of you individually. It is our goal to partner with our unions, leaders, and staff to continue providing necessary services to our community while guarding our staff against difficult financial, mental, physical, and health-related stressors. Transitions are not always smooth. We ask for your patience and partnership as we navigate these difficult decisions together.
Nonetheless, we promise to continue this dialogue and partnership throughout this difficult time, and to work with each of you individually to ensure we meet this goal. We will continue to learn, adapt, and overcome together.
Please complete the linked form on or before close of business on November 3, 2020. Your response will assist us in ensuring any needed accommodations. Please complete this form, even if you do not need an accommodation, as that feedback will assist our planning. Once you complete the form and if you request an accommodation, a member of the Benefits Team in the Office of Human Resources will be in contact with you.
