Teachers from all across the RCSD have prepared and are now delivering holiday food packages to 130 local families of Rochester City School District students. To coordinate this project, teachers, social workers and guidance counselors provided the names of two families in need from each city
school and program. This year, the Rochester Teachers Association partnered with Foodlink to ensure each holiday basket would provide several nutritious meals for families over the holiday break.
